A Mature Gomaki Transfers to Avex for a Comeback

It was announced on the 19th that former Morning Musume member Goto Maki (22) had joined exclusively with major record company Avex Entertainment. Her brother, former singer Goto Yuki (21), was arrested and charged with theft last October, and she graduated from her former company, Hello Project. I have to say, while I'm happy Maki is joining the ranks of former Morning Musume members making a comeback this year like Makoto and Ai Kago, I really hope she doesn't become the kind of singer I despise - the push-up bra wearing, "booty" shaking Britney Spears variety. All the same I wish her the best of luck and will keep my eye on the situation.
